William “Bill” Donald Kotlowski, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 10, 2023 at Ripon Community Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
Bill was born in Milwaukee, WI on October 7, 1944, son of Walter and Doris (Weise) Kotlowski. He graduated from Ripon High School and served our country, traveling the world with the Air Force. Bill married Jo Ann Olmstead at St. Wenceslaus Church in Ripon, WI on June 26, 1976. He spent over 30 years as an electrician at Speed Queen.
Bill was a family man who had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh. He loved music, traveling, playing cards, photography and was a collector of many things. Bill was very patriotic and proud of this great country.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jo Ann Kotlowski; children, Carol (Mourad) Al-Tahrawy, David (Rita) Walker, Laure Olson, Lisa (Tony) Owen and William “BJ” (Shannon) Kotlowski; 12 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Karen) Kotlowski, and many nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Walter and Michael Kotlowksi, and many close friends.
Visitation for Bill will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.
A prayer service for Bill will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating. A final salute and full military honors will follow at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at St. Michael Cemetery in Berlin, WI at a later date.
