Wayne Benjamin Wegner, age 76, of Ripon, WI, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015, at home.
Wayne was born December 7, 1938, in Ripon, the son of Benjamin and Melva (Seidler) Wegner. He graduated from Ripon High School and attended Ripon College. After college, Wayne moved to the family farm where he farmed all of his life. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, the N.O.A.A, and a past member of Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his children, Amy (Shane) Wondra of Pickett, WI, Ben (Amy) Wegner and their children, Jeremy and Theresa of Ripon, WI, and Cynthia (Joseph) Docter and their children, Emily, Annie, and Heidi all of Ripon. Wayne is further survived by the mother of his children; Sharon Wegner. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Benjamin and Melva Wegner.
Visitation for Wayne Benjamin Wegner will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, from 9 – 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Wayne Benjamin Wegner will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will take place at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial is being established.
