Thomas "Tom" A. Griese

Thomas “Tom” A. Griese, age 74 of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay, WI with his family by his side.

Tom was born on August 7, 1948 in Oshkosh, WI, son of Lee and Margaret (Krystofiak) Griese. He attended Ripon High School and served in the National Guard following graduation for 6 years. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 8 Milwaukee, WI for over 35 years. Tom was one of a kind, with a great sense of humor. He loved to joke around and had a comeback or one-liner for any occasion. Tom and Tamara spent many summer days camping and he insisted on always having a campfire going. He enjoyed watching the Brewers, completing puzzles and cryptograms nearly daily, and was always up for a car ride.

Tom is survived by his spouse of 23 years, Tamara Hartman; children, Julie Soutuyo, Jason Griese, Clayton Griese, Cassandra Langenfeld and Rochelle Robbins; step-children, Joshua Mueller, Lindsay Villalobos and Hailey Post; 7 grandchildren; siblings, David Griese, Joseph Griese and Jim Griese; special dog, Apple. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Wright.

Per Tom’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
