Teri L. Stibb

Teri L. Stibb, age 62, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026 at home with her family by her side after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.

Teri was born on December 18, 1963 in Ripon, WI, daughter of Robert and Carol (Pankow) Schmeck. She attended grade school at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake, where she was also baptized and confirmed. She went on to graduate high school from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac, WI. On March 20, 1993, Teri married Brian Stibb at Peace Lutheran Church, where she remained a devoted lifelong member. She worked various jobs over the years, most recently for Hallmark cards as well as mowing lawns for the family lawn service. Teri was happiest when she was outside. An avid adventurer, she found peace and joy when she was walking, biking, or hiking through nature’s quiet paths. When winter arrived she strapped on her cross-county skis or snowshoes. Her passion for the outdoors extended into her daily work of mowing lawns, taking immense pride in grooming the land and spending her days under the open sky. Teri had an extraordinary heart for animals, especially her dogs, rabbits, chickens, goats and even her goldfish. She cherished spending time with her children, exploring the West and soaking up the heat and sun.

Teri is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brian Stibb of Princeton, WI; her children, Jessie (Nathan) Hunt of Kronenwetter, WI, Branden Stibb of Princeton, WI, and Shawna Stibb of Princeton, WI; her mother, Carol (Rodney) Dietsche of Green Lake, WI; and many aunts; uncles; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Schmeck; grandparents, Rose and Eric Schmeck and Mildred and Walter Pankow; and several aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Visitation for Teri will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 9:00 until 11:30 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 440 Lake St., Green Lake, WI 54941.

A memorial service for Teri will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake, with Pastor Nickolas Haasch officiating.
