Sylvia J. Anderson

Sylvia J. Anderson, age 84, of Ripon, WI, was reunited with her beloved husband, in the presence of God, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Maplecrest Manor.

Sylvia was born on July 17, 1942 in Waukau, WI, daughter of Ray and Letha (Kloehn) Ehrenberg. She graduated from Ripon High School. Sylvia married Gordon Anderson on September 18, 1965 at Mt. Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Ripon. She worked for many years serving children school lunches at Wayside School in Ripon. She also helped at Head Start in Ripon, as well as Green Lake and Rosendale School Districts. Sylvia took pride and loved to work in her flower gardens. She also played the organ and enjoyed sewing in her spare time. Sylvia cherished traveling, especially family camping trips out west. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, friends, and of course her grandchildren.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Pamela (Fred) Krahn of Ripon, WI and Mark (Lindsey) Anderson; grandchildren, Bradley (Kallen) Krahn, Deanna (fiancé, Gabriel Finley) Krahn, Lexi Anderson, and Julia Anderson; a great-grandchild on the way, due in October; brothers, Larry (Sally) Ehrenberg and Alan (Sandy) Ehrenberg; sister-in-law, Gloria (Roger) Kintopf; brother-in-law, David (Wendy) Belter; and many nieces; nephews; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 54 years, Gordon Anderson; her parents, Ray and Letha Ehrenberg; in-laws, Ernie and Edna Anderson; a brother-in-law, Doug Cochenet; and two sisters-in-law, Faye Cochenet and Sue Belter.

Visitation for Sylvia will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9:00 until 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 307 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Sylvia will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Pastor Dennis Meier officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
