Susan Vikre, age 65, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her home with her family by her side.
Susan was born on January 2, 1948, in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Krueger) Levonowicz. She graduated from Waukegan Township High School. On November 26, 1989, Susan married Jim Vikre in Waukegan. She was employed by Admanco in Ripon and Fabriko and PGI in Green Lake. She enjoyed going perch fishing but most of all; she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Jim Vikre of Green Lake, WI; daughter, Heather (Tom) Maguire of Ripon, WI; son, Jim (Kim) Maguire of Beaver Dam, WI; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Michael Maguire both of Beaver Dam, WI; step-daughter, Sheila Vikre of McHenry, IL; step-grandchildren, C.J. and Sami Snow both of McHenry, IL and one aunt, Evelyn Schemel of Waukegan, IL. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Levonowicz.
Per Susan’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. A memorial is being established in her name.
