Sheila M. Pohlman

Sheila Marie Pohlman, age 72, of Green Lake, WI passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Wolverton Glen in Ripon, WI.

Sheila was born on December 30, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA, daughter of Leo and Helen “Susie” (Connelly) O’Callaghan. She attended St. Mary’s Academy and graduated from Louisville High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in fine arts at Mount St. Mary’s College. Sheila worked as an office manager for a retirement community for many years. On July 24, 1993 she married Harold “Hal” R. Pohlman in Green Lake, WI. In her free time, Sheila enjoyed reading, gardening, swimming, computer games, arranging flowers, dancing, and time spent with friends and family, especially during social hour. Her cats, Spanky and Tinker brought her much joy. She was a member of the Green Lake Ladies Auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church of Ripon and previously Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Harold “Hal” Pohlman of Green Lake, WI; daughter, Bonnie (Josh Beran) Jorgensen of Fond du Lac, WI; step-son, William (Annie) Pohlman of Gurnee, IL; siblings, Pat (Leslie) O’Callaghan of Los Angeles, CA, Molly (Dave) Bonenfant of Malibu, CA, Terry (Andrea) O’Callaghan of Loveland, CO, Tom O’Callaghan of Green Lake, WI; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Susie O’Callaghan; a step-daughter, Lara Larson; and granddaughter, Addie Mae Larson; and a grandson, Adam Larson.

Visitation for Sheila will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

A Prayer Service for Sheila will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Deacon Jeff Copson officiating.
