Sharon Straight

Sharon Kay Straight, age 83, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her home.
Sharon was born in Mason City, IA on January 19, 1939, the daughter of Eugene and Dorothy (Martin) Auck. She graduated from Wautoma High School. In 1958, Sharon married Terrence Straight in Wautoma, and in 1968 they moved to Ripon. Terrance passed away in 1991. Sharon managed a CBRF for many years, and also was head of custodial at a service center for 20 years. Most importantly, however, she was a wife and mother to her own kids as well as all the neighbor kids who always had a spot at her table. Sharon was known for her amazing baking and was always passing out baked goods. She was stubborn and loving, and will be dearly missed.
Sharon is survived by her children, Brian (Christine) Straight of Wichita, KS, Kelly Straight of Green Lake, WI, Timothy (Sherri) Straight of Arena, WI, and James Straight of Green Lake, WI; grandchildren, Olivia, Issy and Sara Straight, Casey, Cara and Clover Garlow, Brooke, Kaylee and Colton Drmolka, Jordan, Jada, and Terry Straight; her brothers, Sidney (Carol) Auck, Curtis (Toni) Auck, and Gregory (Janice) Auck; sisters, Sandy Stepleton, Kay King; and several nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence Straight and her parents, Eugene and Dorothy Auck.
A visitation for Sharon's family and friends to share memories and celebrate her life will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. A memorial is being established in her name.
