Scott Jeske

Scott Charles Jeske, age 64, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 16, 2019. He spent his final days with Lin and their three daughters, laughing together and watching the Packers defeat the Vikings (Go Pack Go!).

Scott was born on August 28, 1955, to Harold and Donna (Anderson) Jeske in Antioch, IL. He graduated from Whitnall High School in Greenfield, WI, and immediately enlisted in the Air Force. After the Air Force, Scott pursued a career in Manufacturing Engineering. He married Lin Blahna on August 19, 1978, and together they raised three daughters – Dena, Kasey and Julie.

Family, the Packers and the Brewers were Scott’s three passions in life. Scott enjoyed cooking, loved to golf whenever possible, and hunting with his father and brother-in-law. Traveling and camping trips were a favorite memory of his family. Model Railroading was a pastime hobby for Scott.

Scott’s quirky sense of humor and vast knowledge of random facts will be greatly missed by his family and lifelong friends.

Survivors include his wife, Lin Jeske of Ripon, WI; three daughters, Dena (fiancé, Chad Bryden) Jeske of Ripon, WI, Kasey (David) Steinseifer of Ripon, WI and Julie (Eric) Klapper of Randolph, WI; six grandchildren, Madelin, Amelia, Mason, Maxwell, Jackson and Cashton; sister, Sandee Wocelka of Greenfield, WI; mother-in-law, Phyllis Blahna of Ripon, WI; brother-in-law, Dale (Mary Jo) Blahna of Seattle, WA; uncle, Doug Anderson of Milwaukee, WI; four nieces, one nephew and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, father-in-law, John Blahna; brother-in-law and best friend, Philip Wocelka and niece, Kelly Baier.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Scott on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 1 – 2:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. A memorial is being established in Scott’s name.
