Ruth Wagner, age 62, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at her home with family by her side.

Ruth was born August 12, 1954, the daughter of Curt and Gladys (Kemp) Jansen. She worked at Giddings & Lewis with her sister, Jackie for over 40 years and never loved anyone as much as they loved each other. Ruth could and tried to put humor in her job especially with the truck drivers. On February 20, 2009, she married Paul Wagner in Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include her son, David (Jenny) Vissers and their two daughters, Abagail and Sierra all of Kaukauna; sisters, Lillian Court of Appleton, Sharon Borchert of Menasha, Jane (Steve) Blair of Appleton, Grace (Rod) Bonjean of Fredonia, Sue (Larry) Gagne of MN, Jackie (Dale) Lambie of Kaukauna, Janice (Tom) Rutten of Freedom and Julie (Tom) Siebers of Combined Locks; brother, Dan (Sue) Jansen of Little Chute; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jerome (Betrish) Wagner of Van Dyne, Dan (Nancy) Wagner of Ripon, Ruth (Mike) Jones of Neenah, Tina (Pat) Holt of MN and Jane Wagner of Ripon, Sarah (Paul) DuFrane of Fond du Lac, John (Mary) Wagner of Ripon and Joe Roth of TN. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Curt and Gladys Jansen; soul mate and husband, Paul Wagner; two sisters, Audrey Linskens and Josie Roth; two brothers, Gene and Joseph Jansen; father-in-law, Leander Wagner; great nephew, Aaron Borchert; her niece and god child, co-worker and best friend, Jenny Jaeger of Fond du Lac.

Visitation for Ruth will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 9 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Ruth will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor Ronald Raddatz will officiate. A private family interment will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Kaukauna. Memorials may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope, 745 South St., Green Lake, WI 54941.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Agnesian Hospice Hope, especially Lesley and Noreen for their comfort and care given to Ruth. They would also like to give a special thank you to Sandra Quade for her compassion towards Ruth. We are grateful for all the blessings of family and friends, Joyce and Terry especially during her illness.
