Ruth A. Mann

Ruth Ann Mann, age 80, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at her home.

Ruth was born on October 25, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Duane and Ruth (Nighbor) Doty. She graduated from Berlin High School and married David Mann in 1965. She went on to work as a telephone operator for over 30 years. She enjoyed knitting and playing cards with her grandchildren, was an avid Packer’s fan, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Anthony (Treva) Mann of Omro, WI, Fred (Kim) Mann of Saukville, WI and Jeff (Kate) Mann of Oshkosh, WI; three grandchildren, Justin (Kathryn) Mann of Falls Church, VA, Logan Mann of Oshkosh, WI and Cody Mann also of Oshkosh, WI; a great-grandson, Montgomery Mann of Falls Church, VA; a sister, Viola LaPorte and a brother, Andrew Doty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Ruth Doty; husband, David Mann; two brothers, James and Bill (Susie) Doty; and a brother-in-law, Gary LaPorte.

Visitation for Ruth will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

A prayer service for Ruth will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Deacon Jeff Copson officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI.
