Rosalind Mae Meehan, age 91, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Tower Villa in Rosendale, with her family by her side.
Rosalind was born on July 15, 1929 in Waupaca, WI, the daughter of Ervin and Martha (Barth) Lienhard. She graduated from high school in New London, WI. On December 4, 1948, Rosalind married William F. Meehan in Waupun, WI. William passed away in July of 2010. She worked as sewing associate at Fox River Glove in Ripon, WI. Rosalind enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, baking, and most of all spending time with her family.
Rosalind is survived by her sons, Dan (Pam), Tim and Tom; daughters, Mary (Mike) Koenigsberger, Elizabeth Sixt and Kathleen (Lester) Hilscher; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Violet (Gerald) Slot; and sisters-in-law, Betty Lienhard and Lucille Lienhard. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; and other relatives. Rosalind was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Martha Lienhard; husband, William; sons, Patrick and Sean; grandsons, Brian and Aaron; brothers, Harold (Addie), Ray, and Elmer (Ruth); and two sisters, Ruth (Norman) and Anita (Don).
Visitation for Rosalind will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971,
A Celebration of Life for Rosalind will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 18 2021, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. Inurnment will take place at Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun, WI. Memorials in her name may be directed to Ripon Food Pantry, 102 W. Jackson St., Ripon, WI 54971 or the Alzheimer's Association, 620 S. 76th St., Milwaukee, WI 53214. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Generations Hospice and Tower View Villa for their wonderful care of Rosalind.
