Roger Russell Riedeman, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home.
Roger was born January 13, 1937 in Ripon, the son of William and Mary (Schuster) Riedeman. He graduated from Rosendale High School with the class of 1954. On September 24, 1955, Roger married Ann Welles at the Rosendale Congregational Church in Rosendale, WI. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and sheepshead, but most of his time was spent farming. His dairy cattle and grain farming were his true passion in life.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of Ripon; sons, Jeffrey (Nancy) of Rosendale, WI, Scott (Rose) of Brandon, WI, Paul of Ripon, and Mark (Jennifer) of Brandon, WI; grandchildren, David Riedeman, Sarah (Joshua) Zimmer, Eric (Angela) Riedeman, Melanie (Scott) Bruins, Caleb (Danica) Riedeman, and William, Luke and Noah Riedeman; great-grandchildren, Elijah Zimmer, Sylvia, Quinn and Anthon Riedeman, Jace and Aleena Bruins, and Grayden and Tenley Riedeman; brother-in-law, Daniel Pagel of Whitefish Bay, WI; and sisters-in-law, Jean Zimmerman, Ruth (Steve) Bernstein, Sue Welles and Jane Welles. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Riedeman; sisters, Dorothy Hall and Jean Pagel; father and mother-in-law, Theodore and Edna Welles; and brothers-in-law, Richard Zimmerman, Sidney Welles, Lynn Welles and Harry Hall.
A private family graveside service for Roger will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale, WI. Memorials may be directed to Laconia High School FFA, 301 W. Division St., Rosendale, WI 54974.
