Robert Scott Riviers, age 58, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Manor of Fond du Lac, WI.
Robert was born in Ripon on October 15, 1964, son of James and Shirley (Krause) Riviers. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1984 and went on to earn an associated degree at The Suomi College (now Finlandia University) in Hancock, MI. He was a farmer and took pride in his cattle. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, spending time with his friends, and cherished all his dogs over the years.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Cindy (Gary) Berger of Ripon, WI, Michael (Carrie) Riviers of Waukegan, IL, and Lissa Riviers of Ripon, WI; his mother, Shirley Riviers of Ripon, WI; special friend, Lorna O’Donovan of Waupun, WI; beloved nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; his precious dog, Quint; and his cattle, many of whom he named. He was preceded in death by his father, James Riviers; grandparents, Ralph and Edith Krause and Alexander W. And Gertrude Riviers; and two special dogs, Stratford and Sammie.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 9:00 - 10:30 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A prayer service for Robert will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM, Cap officiating. Interment will follow at Loper Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI.
Robert’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to SSM Health and The Manor of Fond du Lac, and especially to his neighbors and friends, who for the last few years helped Robert keep his farm going. It meant the world to him.
