Robert “Bob” J. Muller, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI.
Bob was born April 15, 1932, in La Crosse, WI, the son of Otto and Elizabeth (Huss) Muller. He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On July 27, 1957, Bob married Betty Olson. He received his bachelor’s degree in teaching from UW-La Crosse and educated children in Wisconsin school districts including Ripon, Colby, Germantown and Laona as well as in Kinsey, Montana.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty Muller of Ripon, WI; daughter, Valerie “Val” and son-in-law, James “Jim” of Seattle, WA, and son, Daniel “Dan” and daughter-in-law, Ruth of the Town of Sullivan, WI; grandchildren, Natalie of Milwaukee, WI, Jacqueline “Jacquie” of the Town of Sullivan, WI, and Alexandra “Alex” of Seattle, WA. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Elizabeth Muller; one son, James; siblings, Fred, William, Arthur “Art,” Russell, Raymond “Ray,” Richard “Dick,” Muriel, Viola, Betty, and Otto “Bud” Jr.
A Celebration of Life for Robert Muller will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm at CJ’s at the Wayside, W13201 Cork St., Ripon, WI, with brief remarks at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to South Woods Park Association, P.O. Box 441, Ripon, WI, 54971.
