Robert Ray Hintz, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home.
Bob was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 2, 1932, the only child of Arthur and Ruth (Lemke) Hintz. After high school he went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. Bob was employed at Milprint in Milwaukee for 38 years. He enjoyed playing the accordion and organ, as well as repairing clocks and watches. His happiest times were spent fishing and hunting by Silver Creek, which ran alongside his A-frame house, built by Bob. He cherished his time with his friends in Ripon, and will be remembered for his kind and non-judgmental personality.
Bob is survived by one niece, Sherry Flesses; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruth Hintz; and a niece, Denise Hintz.
Per Bob's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Memorials in his name may be directed to the American Legion Brown-Parfitt Post #43, 113 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI, 54971.
