Richard E. Koehler

Richard “Dick” E. Koehler, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at home, with his wife by his side.

Richard was born on November 10, 1046 in Fond du Lac, WI, son of Edwin and Carol (Whitby) Koehler. He graduated from Chilton High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree degree in agronomy from UW-Madison. In 1968 he married Ann Hensel in Chilton. Richard worked in the canning industry, working his way up to plant manager. He started at Del Monte and retired from Seneca Foods. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, and collecting special treasures.

Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann Koehler of Ripon, WI; two sons, Andrew (Penny) Koehler of Ripon, WI and Patrick (Suzy) Koehler of Vancouver, WA; a grandson, Dwight Koehler of Madison, WI; two sisters, Kathleen (Larry) Bruckner of Green Bay, WI and Mary (Tom) Klein of Appleton, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Carol Koehler; abrother, Daniel Koehler; in-laws, Dwight and Ann Hensel; and a brother-in-law, Robert Hensel.

Per Richard’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
