Richard H. King, age 75, passed away on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at Parkwest Memorial in Knoxville, TN.
Richard was born in Madison, WI and lived many adventures all over the US before settling in Knoxville 23 years ago. He proudly built his company, American Paving in Knoxville and actively participated in it’s growing success each and every day. His generous heart and wicked sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his twelve grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Valerie Brown-King; his sons, Rick, Troy, Adam, Justin and step-son, Ryan; his daughter, Rebecca; twelve grandchildren; his brother, Glen; and cousins, George and Sis. He is preceded by his parents, Ardin and Florence King, whom he will rest beside at Dartford Cemetery in beautiful Green Lake, WI; and a son, Corey King.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI, followed by a graveside service at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, with Father John Silva officiating.
