Richard D. Coons, age 59, died February 15, 1999, at his home in Appleton.
He was born September 9, 1939, in Minong, a son of the late David M. and Thelma (Vig) Coons. After graduating from Minong High School, Richard had 2 years of schooling in Superior, and then did military service in the US Army. Richard was in sales, most recently at Steenberg Homes in Neenah
He is survived by 2 sisters, Phyllis (Lee) Ross of Ripon and Victoria (Richard) Harmon of Minong; 1 brother, Darryl Coons of Duluth, Minn.; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Verna Langdon and sister-in-law, Betsy Coons.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. lnurnment will be in the spring at Minong.
