Richard Bruggeman

Richard Bruggeman, age 77, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at his home unexpectedly.

Richard was born on July 26, 1935, in Harvey, IL, the son of Harold and Gunhild (Holden) Bruggeman. He graduated from Thornton High School in Harvey and went on to serve our country in the United States Army. Richard worked as a property manager for different businesses. He was a member of the Green Lake Willis-Chapel Legion Post #306 and a regular petitioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake.

Survivors include his son, Paul (Laura) Bruggeman and their two sons, Joshua and Nate all of Elgin, IL and his daughter, Sheila (Gary) Van Heest and their two sons, Phillip and Abraham all of Chicago Heights, IL; five brothers and sisters, Dorothy, Virginia, Harold, Ken and Jan and his special friend, Regina Furo. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, from 10 – 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 530 Ruth St., Green Lake, WI 54941.

Funeral service for Richard will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. Father Philip Krogman will officiate. Memorials may be directed to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
