Richard G. Bradley

Richard “Dick” G. Bradley, age 85, of Pickett, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI, with his family by his side.

Dick was born on March 10, 1941 in Oshkosh, WI, son of Edgar and Isabelle (Clute) Bradley. He graduated from Ripon High School, class of 1959. On May 26, 1962 he married Deanna Slife, and they enjoyed 63 years together. Dick was a farmer when he met and married Deanna, and then spent 37 years working for Rockwell International, where he welded parts (mainly axels) for Oshkosh Truck. He and Deanna later owned and operated a trucking business, hauling grain and fresh food commodities around the area. In his free time, Dick enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, snowmobiling, and truck/tractor pulling. He had a love for pets, and a passion for NASCAR. He loved traveling around the country with Deanna to watch NASCAR races, and they also took several trips oversees throughout the years. More than anything he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Bradley; a son, Jeff (Michele) Bradley; a daughter, Stacey Bradley; grandchildren, Alex (Megan) Bradley, Emily (Brad) Kempka, Kristian Bradley-Kasten, and Jackson Bradley-Clemo; great-grandchildren, Arianna and Zander Bradley; three sisters, Margaret Tigert, Lila (Dan) Jerabek, and Nancy (John) Lieske; a brother, Edgar (Mary) Bradley; and sister-in-law, Jane Bradley. He is further survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Isabelle Bradley; parents-in-law, Henry and Erma Slife; two brothers, Kenneth Bradley and Ronald (Ruth) Bradley; brother-in-law, James Tigert; and a sister, Sharon Bradley.

Visitation for Dick will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church, 508 Co Rd M, Pickett, WI 54964.

Funeral service for Dick will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett, with Rev. Jud Krohn officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett, WI. Memorials in his name may be directed to the Oshkosh Humane Society, 1925 Shelter Ct, Oshkosh, WI 54901, or to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
