Randall "Randy" Hopp

Randall “Randy” P. Hopp, age 47, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI with his family by his side.
Randy was born in Waupun, WI on May 7, 1974, the son of Howard and Annette (Streekstra) Hopp. He graduated from Laconia High School in Rosendale and was a lifelong farmer, currently employed at Beck's Meats in Oshkosh, WI. His passions were camping, ice fishing, grilling and smoking meat, listening to music and attending live concerts. Randy was a Fond du Lac 4-H leader as well as a Fond du Lac county Dairy Superintendent. He enjoyed watching and coaching sports, and was involved in North Fond du Lac Baseball, Fond du Lac Wrestling Club and the Laconia FFA, receiving an honorary FFA Degree.
Randy is survived by his mother, Annette Hopp of Ripon, WI; the mother of his children, Lee Hopp of Oshkosh, WI; children, Caleb (fianceé, Danielle Merritt) Hopp of Ripon, WI; Kendra (Zack Ruenger) Hopp of Lomira, WI; and Jacob Hopp of Rosendale, WI; two sisters, Val (Bruce) Vande Zande of Waupun, WI and Cherrie (Rob) Wilson of Ripon, WI; two brothers, Steve (Shelley) Hopp of Alto, WI and Jeff (Julie) Hopp of Ripon, WI; and many nieces; nephews; great nieces and great nephews who adored him. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Hopp, maternal grandparents, George and Elsie Streekstra and paternal grandparents, Garret and Lucy Hopp.
Visitation for Randy will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971, and again from 9:30 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, also at the funeral home.
Funeral service for Randy will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Pastor Kimberly Stowell officiating. Interment will follow at Alto Cemetery in the Town of Alto, WI. A memorial is being established in Randy's name. His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire ICU staff at St. Francis Hospital for their wonderful care of Randy and his entire family.
