Peggy M. Miller

Peggy May Miller, age 75, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon.

Peggy was born on August 29, 1950 in Oshkosh, WI, daughter of Wayne and Virginia (Farrer) Curtis. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and went on to work her entire career in the meat departments at Piggly Wiggly, Pick ’n Save, and lastly Webster’s until retirement. She married Jerry Ziesmer in 1970, and he passed away in 2003. On October 15, 2005 she married Darwin Miller, Jr. at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett, WI. Her faith in God was always strong and continued attending the church in Pickett. In her spare time Peggy enjoyed reading, walking, and shopping. More than anything she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and cherished every moment with them.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Darwin Miller, Jr.; two sons, Brent Ziesmer and Mark (Patty) Ziesmer both of Ripon, WI; grandchildren, Katelyn (Zac) Reyes, Jordyn (Mike) Engel, and Kerstyn Ziesmer; two great-grandchildren, Warren and Weston; two sisters, Debbie (Parker) Meredith and Sandra Curtis; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Spangler, Connie Wahoske, Debbie Miller, and Barbara Miller; and brothers-in-law, Loren (Nancy) Miller and Ron (Linda) Ziesmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Virginia Curtis; her first husband, Jerry Ziesmer; a brother, Dan Curtis; a brother-in-law, Dennis Wahoske; and her beloved dog, Cleo.

A private family entombment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh, with Pastor Jud Krohn officiating.
