Norman John Priske, 95, of Green Lake, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at Fountain View Care Center, Ripon.
Norman was born on February 15, 1915, in Green Lake, the son of Rudolph and Sophia (Ruganski) Priske. He graduated from Green Lake High School. Norman lived in Green Lake most of his life and worked for Imperial Distributor as a salesman for 30 years. He married Genevieve Greenway in Mt. Calvary, WI in 1942. Norman was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, and served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a 1st Class Petty Officer.
Survivors include his children, Steven (Marcia) Priske of Texas, Pamela Priske of Green Lake, and Teresa (Tom) Miller of Waupun; one grandson, Robert (Elizabeth) Priske of Texas; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Priske of Green Lake; and one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Ann. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Genevieve Priske in 1998; one son, David Priske in 1990; and brothers and sisters.
Per Normans wishes there will be no visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial for Norman J. Priske will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, 530 Ruth Street in Green Lake, with Father Philip Krogman officiating. Interment will follow, with full Military Honors, at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI. Memorials can be given to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
