Norman T. Nennert, age 88, of Markesan, WI, passed Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.
Norman was born May 3, 1929, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Theobold and Alma (Bessie) Nennert. He graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee. Norman went on to serve our country in the National Guard. He worked as a police officer at the Milwaukee Police Department for 32 years and also was a member of the Milwaukee Police Department Union. After retirement, Norman moved to Little Green Lake, WI. He enjoyed being by Little Green Lake in Markesan and that is one thing he missed while living at Barrett House in Markesan.
Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Schrubbe of New Berlin, WI and Mary Ellen (Jack) Dreger of Iowa; friends, Al and Suzanne Goetz of Markesan, WI. Norman is further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theobold and Alma Nenner; two wives, Carol Nennert who passed on May 20, 1994 and Joyce Nennert who passed on May 10, 2008 and a brother-in-law, Carl Schrubbe.
