Norman E. Graff, age 77, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017, at his home in rural Markesan, WI.
Norman was born in Fond du Lac, WI, on February 14, 1939, the son of Erwin and Velma (Kourt) Graff. He graduated from Markesan High School, and went on to serve our country in the United States Army. In May of 1964, he married Linda Mann at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, WI. Norman was a dairy farmer his entire life, and enjoyed driving tractor. He was a member of the Markesan Board of Education, the Associated Milk Producers Board, and the Green Lake County Farm Bureau. When Normans health started to deteriorate, his love for his grandchildren kept him going.
Norman is survived by his wife, Linda; his sons, Tim (Kim) Graff and Tom (Christa) Graff, both of Markesan, WI; grandchildren, Adam, Lucas, Stacy, Dakota, Dani, and Mathew, all also of Markesan; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Velma; father-in-law, Frederick Mann; mothers-in-law, Grace Mann and Leatrice Mann; sister-in-law, Shirley Bornick; and brother-in-law, David Mann.
A visitation for Norman will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, February 13, 2017, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, 343 Scott Street, Ripon, WI, 54971.
A funeral service for Norman will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 13, 2017, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will be at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Green Lake County, with full military honors to follow. Normans family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope. A memorial is being established in his name.
