Norma L. Acevedo

Norma “Letty” L. Acevedo, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at home with her family by her side.

Letty was born in Del Rio, TX on September 11, 1958, daughter of Juana Costilla. She graduated from high school in Del Rio and later moved with her family to Ripon. She dedicated over 30 years of her work life to Chiquita, Green Giant, and retiring from Seneca Foods and Del Monte. Over the years Letty met her life partner, Juan Ledezma, who passed away in 2021. Letty remained a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, even in Packer territory, and loved football in general. She also loved a good trip to the casino, where she enjoyed the excitement and atmosphere. Most of all she cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who all called her “GG.”

Letty is survived by her daughters, Norma (Juan) Sanchez of Ripon, WI and Sonia (Juan Nava) Cedillo of Fond du Lac, WI; a brother Jorge (Tina) Sena of Albert Lea, MN; eight grandchildren, Mireya (Jayme) Walsh, Mercedez (Dalton) Hernandez, Julio (Rosa), Sonia, Nathan, Andrea Nancy, and Angel; many great-grandchildren, godsons, Dominick Ortega and Jonathan Sena; and numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juana Costilla; a grandson, Juan "Kiwi" Hernandez, Jr.; and her life partner Juan Ledezma.

Visitation for Letty will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
