Nancy A. Jonas

Nancy A. Jonas, age 91, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

Nancy was born in Ripon, Wisconsin on August 22, 1931, the daughter of William  and Lucille (Briske) Ninneman. She graduated from the Ripon High School, then furthered her education in cosmetology. Once done with school, Nancy used her skills as a beautician. In 1952 she married Jack Jonas at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. 

Nancy loved to spend time working on various crafts, such as knitting and sewing. She gifted her handmade works of art to her loved ones and places in need. She valued the time she was gifted with her family and friends. In addition, she loved the Green Bay Packers. She could be seen rooting for them alongside her husband, Jack.

Nancy had such a strong sense of family and faith. She attended Mass at every given opportunity. Nancy gave back by assisting with funeral lunches for those in her community. She was a generous, loving person that we are proud to call mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Nancy is survived by her four children, Sara (Wayne Hunt) Draeger of Verona, WI, Jack (Carlene) Jonas of Watertown, WI, Tim (Anne) Jonas of Waterloo, WI, and Dan (Pam) Jonas of Ripon, WI; daughter-in-law, Nancy Jonas; grandchildren, Jessica Scully, Nick (Katie) Draeger, Katie (André) Ost, Mel (Sean) Askay, Kevin (Katie) Jonas, Sam (Natalie) Jonas, Casey (Brianna) Jonas, Brice and Carson Jonas; step-grandchildren, Emma, Donna, Alex, and Davina; great-grandchildren, Camdyn, Dawson, Damian, CJ, and Sloan, Elyse, Clara, Davis, Nina, Budd Budd, Ian, James, Liam, Etta, and Olivia; step-great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Jason, Max and Bradley; a sister-in-law, Joanne Jonas; and many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Jack Jonas; son, Peter Jonas; sister, Jayne; and brother, Bill.

Visitation for Nancy will be from 9:00am - 11:00am Thursday, June 29, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E Blossom St, Ripon, WI 5497.

A memorial mass for Nancy will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating. You may view a livestream of the memorial mass at 11:00 am at https://www.facebook.com/stcatherineripon/

A private family inurnment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
