Myra Esther Wetzel, age 78, formerly of Ripon, died Tuesday, September 12, 2000, at Clearview Long Term & Rehab. Center in Juneau.
She was born October 5, 1922, in Ripon, a daughter to August and Ida (Lehman) Wetzel. Myra has resided in health care facilities for many years. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Roselyn Wetzel of Russell Manor in Ripon; 12 nieces and nephews; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William (Faye), Marvin (Shirley) and Elton Wetzel; and one nephew, Duran Wetzel.
Funeral Service for Myra Wetzel will be 11:00 am on Friday, September 15, 2000, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend David Busker officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery. Memorials to the Immanuel United Methodist Church Elevator Fund.
