Mrs. Henry Anton, age 89, of Ripon, WI passed away on Thursday, February 24, 1955 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
She was born in Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Germany on November 17, 1865, the daughter of Henry and Johanna (Burmeister) Grahn. She came to Ripon from Germany as a girl, and on April 6, 1884 married Henry Anton, who passed away on March 6, 1942. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ripon..
Mrs. Anton is survived by a brother, Henry Grahn of Ripon, WI; a sister, Mrs. Henry Lange of Ripon, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Johanna Grahn; and her husband, Henry Anton.
Visitation for Mrs. Anton will be held from 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 26, 1955 until 11:00 am on Monday, February 28, 1955 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ripon.
Funeral service for Mrs. Anton will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 1955 at First Evangelical Church of Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
