Miriam Beilke Huth was called to her King on April 14, 2022 in Roswell, GA after a long and fruitful life. The daughter of Walter J. & Lillian (Frei) Beilke, she was born and raised on a farm near Fairwater, WI. She attended Fairwater Elementary School and graduated from Ripon High School. Miriam pursued her college education at Ripon College earning a degree in Music Education and a Masters Degree in Christian Education from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. In 1949 she married Harold E. Huth. She was a devoted wife and mother. Miriam was an accomplished musician in voice and piano. She shared her knowledge and love for music as a music specialist in the Madison, Bangor and Oshkosh Public School Systems for over 20 years. Deeply committed to her faith, she enjoyed sharing her talents with children and adult choirs in her church, teaching Sunday School and serving in womens ministry. She loved her country and was committed to preserving its freedom and faith heritage through the political process. Miriam gave selflessly to those around her. Her prayers, wit, humor, encouragement, wisdom and kind and generous heart will be greatly missed by those who know and love her. She leaves behind an incredible legacy of faith and an example of a life lived with meaning, purpose and in service to others.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (John) Evans, Nephews Michael (Nancy) Beilke, Stephen (Maureen) Beilke and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her treasured Aunt, Esther Beilke, her husband, Harold and her brother, Erwin Beilke.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon with the Reverend Clay Salmela officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, City of Ripon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 430 W Griswold St, Ripon, WI 54971.
