Mildred I. Luedke, age 89, of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Berlin Memorial Hospital in Berlin with her family at her side.
Mildred was born on November 16, 1919, in Brandon, the daughter of Herman and Mary (Quast) Berger. She married Raymond Pete Luedke on March 4, 1939. Mildred was employed at Ripon Foods and remained there for 35 years. She was a member of Our Saviors United Church of Christ, Church Guild, and Friendship Card Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna (Jack) Yearwood of Fisk, Carol (Ron) Bayer of Green Lake, and Nancy (Jim) Henning of Ripon; three sons, David (Carla) Luedke of Princeton, Duane (Nancy) Luedke of Fond du Lac, and Michael (Kathy) Luedke of Ripon; one sister, Elaine Ehrenberg of Ripon; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister.
Visitation for Mildred Luedke will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009, from 4-7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, from 10-11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Mildred Luedke will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established in her name.
