Michael Seitzinger

Michael R. Seitzinger, MD, age 70, of Ripon, WI passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at his home.

Michael was born on January 3, 1949 in Joliet, IL, the son of Donald and Ruth (Dyer) Seitzinger. After graduating from high school in Illinois, he continued his education at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, receiving his Doctorate in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Michael enjoyed working as a medical doctor at the Berlin Hospital in Berlin, WI until his retirement. He also enjoyed golfing, boating, trips up north to fish and camp, and cherished his Saturday lunch and movie with his son, Matt. Michael was very involved with the Green Lake Kiwanis Club.

Michael is survived by his son, Matt Seitzinger of Green Lake, WI; a brother, Richard (Donna) Seitzinger of Greenwood, AR; a nephew, Mark Seitzinger; two nieces, Miranda Luke and Amelia Gonzales; and step-brothers, Larry and Jerry Seitzinger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ruth Seitzinger; his step-mother, Esther (Livingston) Seitzinger; and step-brother, Larry Seitzinger.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, W3278 Cty Rd K, Markesan, WI 53946.

A memorial service for Michael will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church in Markesan, WI with Pastor Gary Zacharias officiating. A memorial is being established in his name.
