Michael Keipe

March 18, 1954 — January 20, 2017

Michael “Kipper” Lloyd Keipe, age 62, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017, at his home.

Kipper was born March 18, 1954, in Ripon, WI, the son of Lloyd L. and Shirley A. (Weiske) Keipe. He attended Green Lake High School. Kipper owned his business in construction, Hole in One Improvement. He enjoyed riding his Harley, golfing, and bowling but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Kipper had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. His drink of choice was PBR, he drank it every other day stating he only drank half the year.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (David) Steger of Berlin, WI; three grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin) Belter of Fort Wayne, IN, Taylor (Keith) Steger of Berlin, WI and Cole Steger of Berlin, WI; two great-grandchildren, Isaac Knudtson and one on the way; two nieces, Shelly Farvour and Tracy (Josh) Haehl both of Oshkosh, WI and brother-in-law, Tom Spanbauer of Wild Rose, WI. Kipper is further survived by cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Shirley Keipe and sister, Mary Spanbauer.

Visitation for Kipper will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, from 3 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Kipper will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor J. Douglas Hanback will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established in his name.
