Mary Ann Meyer, age 80, of Brandon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

Mary Ann was born August 29, 1937 in the Township of Mackford, WI, the daughter of Norman and Viola (Krohn) Hare. She graduated from Brandon High School and went on to attend University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. In 1958 she married Edward Meyer at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon. Mary Ann was a Teacher's Aide in Ripon, and throughout her life she also worked at Davis Manufacturing in Brandon as well as The Advertisers and Diverse Options in Ripon. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mary Ann was also a 4-H leader. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward Meyer of Brandon, WI; her son, Jack (Karen) Meyer of Riverside, CA; three daughters, Jill (Bob) Jahn of Green Lake, WI, Joan (Roger) Emerson of Rush Lake, WI, and Joyce Schmidt of Brandon, WI; ten grandchildren: Ashley (Joe), Jason (Stephanie), Christopher (Ann), Patrick (fiancee Ariel), Chad (Catie), Curt (Jamie), Mallory (Eric), Zachery (Alyssa), Joshua, and Nicole; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Meyer; her parents, Norman and Viola Hare; a brother, William Hare; a nephew, Anthony Hare; son-in-law, Clarence Pycha; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

A Visitation for Mary Ann will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 4, 2018, Emanuel Lutheran Church, 107 S. Prairie St., Brandon, WI, 53919.

A Funeral Service for Mary Ann will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 4, 2018, also at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon, with Pastor Bob Rosenberg officiating. Interment will be at Mackford Union Prairie Cemetery, Town of Mackford, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
