Mary Ann Draeger, age 92, of Ripon, died on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

Mary Ann was born on September 22, 1924, in Princeton, WI, the daughter of Frank and Verna (Schultz) Mlodzik. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1942. On September 25, 1946, she married John D. Draeger at St. John the Baptist Church in Princeton. Mary Ann worked as a secretary for the National Forensic League in Ripon, WI. She took incredible pride in her yard and lawn, so much that she was given a new push mower as a gift for her 80th birthday. Mary Ann enjoyed taking part in everything her husband did while he was alive, including watching and cheering for the Packers. She continued his tradition of lighting a candle at church on Sundays for a Packer victory.

Mary Ann is survived by her two sons, Jim (Terri) Draeger of Alexandria, LA, Jerry Draeger (Mary Jane) of Madison, WI; two daughters, Jane Draeger of Milwaukee, and Judy Norris (Rick Bailey) of Cottonwood Heights, UT; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Byron (Marilyn) Draeger of Oshkosh, WI; one sister-in-law, Marie Mlodzik of Santa Barbara, CA; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; seven brothers; and one sister.

Visitation for Mary Ann will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 Blossom St., Ripon, WI.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with Father William Whalen officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Agnes Hospital, especially recognizing the staff on the 5th floor and also the physical and occupational therapy staff.
