Marvel Ruth Billing, age 78, of Wautoma, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Marvel was born November 15, 1938, in Niagara, WI, the daughter of Earl and Marvel Monroe. She spent most of her early years in Niagara, graduating from high school and marrying Robert Billing. Marvel’s occupation was volunteering in the parents association for Burley Elementary School in Chicago, IL from 1974 to 1987.
Survivors include two sons, Robert C. Billing of Palatine, IL and Richard E. (Debra J.) Billing of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Tina M. (Mark) Stanley of Chicago, IL and Patricia A. (David Howard) Billing of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Steven M. Stanley of Oswego, IL, Emily P. Billing and Samantha J. Billing both of Ripon, WI and a great-grandson, Zander M. Ness of Ripon, WI. Marvel was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marvel Monroe; husband, Robert; four brothers, Norbert (Mary), Robert, Myron (Marlene), and Ronald (Sue) Monroe; three sisters, Beverly (Roger) Tornow, Shirley (Fred) Popp and Betty (Earl) Procknow; two brothers-in-law, William and Thomas Billing and sister-in-law, Dorothy Dillinger.
Per Marvel’s wishes there will be no service. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, 620 South 76th St., Milwaukee, WI 53214.
