Marjorie Ann (Hinkley) Baehman, age 86, of Ripon, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI.
Marjorie was born on November 22, 1923, in Little Mecan, WI, the daughter of Otto and Marie (Tetzlaff) Ebert. She attended Little Mecan School and on May 8, 1941, Marjorie married Lawrence Keenlance who passed away on July 19, 1971. She married Harvey Hinkley Sr. on September 2, 1972, and he passed away on September 28, 1992 and on August 24, 2007, Marjorie married Lou Baehman in Ripon at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She was a life member of Purple Heart, VFW and the DAV. Marjorie was also a member of Ripon City Schmear League, Friendship Card Club, Green Lake Senior Center and she volunteered at Second Harvest in Omro and at St. Catherine’s Annual rummage sales for several years. Marjorie also belonged to Town and Country Homemakers for many years. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lou of Ripon, WI; two sons, Kenneth (Shirley) Keenlance of Berlin, WI and Delbert (Sherry) Keenlance of Ripon, WI; daughter, Karen (Larry) Workowski of Ripon, WI; eight grandchildren, Chris Bauman, Trent Keenlance, Tyler Keenlance, Stacy (Laura) Workowski, Rustin (Christy) Workowski, Lorri (Brian) Hurst, Cami (Ron) Gilson and Jodi (Rob) Selzler; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; sisters, Marion “Punky” Frost of Princeton, WI, Joyce (Roger) Tornow of Oshkosh, WI and Alice Marquart of Tacoma, WA. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother and one sister.
Visitation for Marjorie Ann (Hinkley) Baehman will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Friday, September 24, 2010, from 9:30 – 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Marjorie Ann (Hinkley) Baehman will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, WI. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, Midwest Div. 3311 S. Packerland Dr. DePere, WI 54115.
