Lyle Lindeman

Lyle William Lindeman, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Prairie Place.
Lyle was born September 29, 1931 in the Town of Metomen, WI, the son of William and Esther (Schwandt) Lindeman. He graduated from Brandon High School and married Phyllis Viola Tank on June 17, 1956. Lyle served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a farmer until 1986 and then worked for Tolibia Cheese at Stella Foods from 1986-1996 as a fieldman. He was a member of the Holstein Association, County Holstein Board, DHIA Board, Town of Metomen Board, and a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served on the church council.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Lindeman of Ripon, WI; son, Blayne R. Lindeman of Center Point, TX; daughters, Annette M. (Michael) Dugenske of Brandon, WI; Paula L. (Russell) Rohde of Stockton, MN and Michele K. (Steven) Jacobs of Brandon, WI; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Craig, Kristin, Jason, Casandra, Dylan and Bryce; eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, William (Ruth) Tank of Kissimmee, FL and sister-in-law, Avis Lindeman of Ripon, WI. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ester Lindeman; sister, Lorraine (Wilson) Berg; brother, Carroll Lindeman; mother and father-in-law, Neal and Anna (Krause) Tank; sister-in-law, Audrey Tank; and brother-in-law, Wayne Tank.
A visitation for Lyle will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9 – 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971. The church asks that mask wearing, hand sanitation and social distancing guidelines be followed at all times.
A funeral service for Lyle will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Clay R. Salmela officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, City of Ripon, WI, with a Final Salute with Military Funeral Honors. Memorials may be directed to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971.
