Lucille F. Miller, age 92, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born June 20, 1907, in Fond du Lac, a daughter to William and Clara (Meilahn) Zahn. She attended Fletcher Rural School near Pickett, and was confirmed on March 25, 1923, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (Our Saviours UCC) in Ripon. On June 4, 1927, she married Melvin Miller and they lived in Pickett prior to moving to Rosendale in 1941. Lucille moved to the American House of Ripon in 1995, and the past 9 months she has lived at Parkview Care Center.
Lucille was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. She was a past member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale, the Prayer Circle and ALCW of the church. She also attended the Pickett Senior Center.
Survivors include 2 sons, Robert (Marilyn) Miller of Rosendale and Eugene (Irene) Miller of Ripon; 2 daughters, Marilyn (George) Albrecht of Rosendale and Julie (Tom) Stellmacher of Ripon; 7 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; 8 great.grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-great-grandchildren, she is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Erna Zahn of New Ulm, MN and Mildred Zahn of Pickett. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1990, 2 brothers, Meilahn and Leonard Zahn, and 1 sister, Mildred Kelly.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 22, 2000, at 11 AM at Our Saviours United Church of Christ with the Rev. Eric Burnard and grandson, the Reverend Balsam Lake officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale.
