Lois G. Switala, age 77, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI.
Lois was born in Minneapolis, MN on February 14, 1944, the daughter of Armond and Olga (Backvold) Grinder. She worked as a receptionist at Allied Insulation in Milwaukee for many years. In 1997 Lois married Anthony Switala in Green Lake. They loved Green Lake and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Anthony passed away in 2016.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Marc) Manning and Lisa (Troy) Lisiecki both of Milwaukee, WI; two grandsons, Travis and Trent Lisiecki; a sister, Marilyn Gillquist of Bloomington, IN; her faithful friend, Buffy; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Lois will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 530 Ruth Street, Green Lake, WI 54941.
Funeral Mass for Lois will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, with Father John Silva officiating.
Lois' family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin and Appleton, WI, for their wonderful care of Lois. A memorial is being established in her name.
