Linda Wells

Linda L. Wells, age 69, of Green Lake, passed away on January 12, 2017, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Linda was born in Oshkosh on March 19, 1947, daughter of Herman and Esther (Wegner) Krause. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1965. On March 12, 1966, she married Lynn “Butch” E. Wells, Jr. Linda worked at Unipro Food Service for nearly 30 years and held the position of sales representative. She loved knitting, reading, scrapbooking, photography and also loved going to see the old warbirds at the EAA fly in. Linda enjoyed traveling, especially yearly trips to Deadwood, SD, with her husband.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lynn; a daughter, Lisa Wells of Madison, WI; grandchildren; Madeline Wells and Sage Anderson of Madison, WI, Kya Wells of Appleton, WI, Jessica (Scott) Kleinhans of Neshkoro, WI, Jake Rau of Princeton, WI; great-grandchildren, Legend Kleinhans of Neshkoro, Rueben and Abigale Hall of Princeton, WI; two sisters, Ruth Dehn and Elaine Witthuhn, both of Oshkosh, WI; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Wells of Neshkoro, WI; other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lee Wells; sister, Eileen Yost; brother, Marlin Krause, mother-in-law and father-in-law Julia and Lynn E. Wells, Sr.; and two sisters-in-law, Carmen Krause and Barbara Barrows.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, at the American Legion, 518 Water Street, Green Lake, WI, 54941. A memorial is being established in her name.
