Linda A. Holloway, age 61, of Green Lake, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017, at home with her family by her side.
Linda was born in Waukesha, WI, on June 21, 1955, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Walther) Holloway. She graduated from Waukesha High School and went on to earn a degree in Business Management at Cardinal Stritch College. Lindas Milwaukee area career included Columbia Hospital and Orthopedic Hospital, the Milwaukee Public Museum, and work as an independent consultant to non-profits. On April 1, 2000, she married James Goyette in Shorewood, WI. From 2007 to 2010 Linda was co-Owner/Manager of Cedar Ridge Ranch and Lodge in Ripon, WI. For the last seven years Linda was co-Owner/Manager of WellSpring Farm in Green Lake, WI. She was a member of Prairie Lakes Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the Ripon Area League of Women Voters, and the Green Lake Association.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jim; a step-daughter, Katherine M. Goyette of Berekely, CA; a step-son, Richard J. Goyette of Milwaukee, WI; a brother, David A. Holloway of Oakland, CA; a sister, Jeanelle (Steven) Shimek of River Falls, WI; a niece, Georgina Shimek of Eau Claire, WI; and a nephew Joseph Shimek of Menomonie, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Lindas life will take place at Prairie Lakes Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 315 Eureka St., Ripon, WI on June 21, 2017 at 5pm.
