Lillian Emma Esther Klingbeil, age 98, of Green Lake, passed away Thursday morning, May 5, 2005, at Green Lake Manor where she had lived since November 2001.
She was born November 17, 1906 in the Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake, daughter of Frank and Ottila (Schlack) Heller. Lillian was baptized on December 23, 1906 and confirmed on October 10, 1920, in Green Lake. She graduated from Green Lake High School and attended Oshkosh Business College. On January 6, 1929, she married Alfred Klingbeil in Green Lake, and he passed away in 1987. Lillian had lived in the Green Lake vicinity all her life, and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake and the Ladies Aid.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Joan Beuthin of Green Lake; 3 nieces, Sylvia (Vern) Wepner of Oshkosh, Arla (Orin) Galow of Brandon and Elaine (Edward) White of Ripon; and personal friends, Elizabeth Rowley, John and Evelyn Lueck, Janet Beuthin and Mary Ann (Philip) Baranowski. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Ervin Beuthin; sister, Mabel; and brother, Clarence.
Funeral service for Lillian E. Klingbeil will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2005, at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Rodney E. Dietsche officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
