Larry R. Krahn

Larry R. Krahn, age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin, WI, with his family by his side.

Larry was born on July 16, 1943 in Kenosha, WI, son of Frederick and Audenta (Cavender) Krahn. He graduated from Princeton High School and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Air Force. On December 30, 1981, he married Shannon Argo in Fond du Lac, WI. Larry worked as a mechanic on jet engines in his early years, and later for commercial agriculture, spending most of his time at Green Giant/Seneca in Ripon. In his free time, he enjoyed flying, hunting, fishing, cutting wood and running a small engine repair service. More than anything he enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Bradley Krahn; Deanna Krahn; Vince Krahn (Ashley); Ozzy Krahn; Gaelan Schmits; Alley Krahn; Cassey Boening; David Krahn and great-grandchildren, Allison Krahn; Ireland Krahn; Ivy Collier; Payton Schmits and Sebastian Mays.

Larry is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Shannon Krahn; a son, Fred Krahn; two daughters, Linda and Gayle Krahn; six sisters, Karen Soda (Vic), Mary Knaak (Carl), Suzie Seehaver (Dale), Carol Stibb (Daryl), Penney Kiekhaefer (Bill), and JoAnn Strange; a brother, Steve Krahn (Mary); step-brother, Jim Hasselwood; numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Audenta Krahn; a brother, Alfred Krahn; and a sister, Sharon Rivers.

Per Larry’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
