Katie Lyn Mittelstaedt

Katie Lyn Mittelstaedt, age 39, of Two Rivers, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 11, 2023, at her home.

Katie was born on August 17, 1984 in Fond du Lac, WI, daughter of Randy and Barbara (Smith) Mittelstaedt. She graduated from Fond du Lac High School. Katie enjoyed playing volleyball and softball in school and loved listening to music. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting, often giving her work as gifts to people. Katie was a member of addiction support groups in Two Rivers, which were comforting to her.

Katie is survived by her sons, Carter Mittelstaedt and Jaxson Trepanier; parents, Randy and Barbara Mittelstaedt; sister, Jennifer (Ben)Wagner; nieces and nephews, Ella, Cole and Liam.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Earl and Donna Smith; paternal grandparents, William and Frieda Mittelstaedt.

Visitation for Katie will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 535 Stow St, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.

Memorial service for Katie will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Fond du Lac, WI with Rev. Rob Van Ess officiating. Inurnment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon at a later date. 

Katie’s family extends a sincere thank you to her addiction support community in Two Rivers for their unconditional love and care for Katie over the years. A memorial is being established in her name.
