Kathy B. Malkowski, age 67 of Ripon, Wisconsin passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home in Ripon.
Kathy was born on July, 5, 1951 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Harold and Eda (Carroll) Bing. She attended Putnam City High School, in Oklahoma City, OK class of 1969. Kathy and Mark met in San Antonio, TX, 1970, while enlisted in the United States Army. They married on July 23, 1971 in San Antonio, TX then moved to Wisconsin in 1972 to start a family and were blessed with three children, Matthew, Andrew and Peter. Kathy graduated with honors from Fox Valley Tech to pursue her passion as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She loved spending time with and caring for newborns in the special care unit for the last 15 years.
Kathy enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and reading. Her compassion for others was unmeasurable. She grew wonderful herbs and flowers and had the opportunity to see multiple countries in her travels with her husband, sisters, and other family members. Her favorite annual trip was to Door County. Kathy was a wonderful and supportive mother and will be dearly missed. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Malkowski and their three children, Matthew (Jennifer) Malkowski of Ripon, Andrew Malkowski (Richard Marshall) of Oshkosh, and Peter (Dianna) Malkowski of Neenah; her sisters, Karen Rohan of East Bernard TX, Connie Cole of Cypress, TX and brother, Carl (Martha) Bing of Elkhart, TX; her grandchildren, Brett Malkowski of Ripon (Matthew and Jennifer) and Eleanor, Catherine and Violet Malkowski of Neenah (Peter and Dianna), along with many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Eda Bing Carroll; her brothers-in-law, Rick Rohan and Paul Cole and her mother and father in law, Chester and Doris Malkowski.
Visitation for Kathy will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 1 – 3:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be sent in Kathy Malkowski’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or online using this link Kathy Malkowski St. Jude Memorial Fund
