Kathryn Lynn Ristau, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, at her home with family by her side.
Kathryn was born June 28, 1950, in Wild Rose, WI, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Weldon) Rumpel. She graduated from Tri County High School in Plainfield. In 1969, Kathryn married Anthony Ristau in Ripon. She worked for the State of Wisconsin as a Diet Technician. Kathryn attended Markesan Bible Church.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Ristau of Ripon, WI; sons, Fredrik (Cheryl) Ristau of Kalamazoo, MI and Ulysses (Kikki) Ninnemann of Bergen, Norway; daughters, Renee (John) Trochinski of Berlin, WI; Estelle (Doug) Ninnemann of Milwaukee, WI and Celeste Snyder of Ripon, WI; grandchildren, Breana Ristau, Kaitlin Ristau, Carter Doyle and Einar Ninnemann and Theresa, Madison, Melanie and Morgan; mother, Elizabeth Rumpel of Ripon, WI; sisters, Sue Rumpel of Ripon, WI and Lee Ann Gaschk of Ripon, WI; brothers, Matt (Kaye) Rumpel of England and Tim Rumpel of Florida and sister-in-law, Kristine (Mike) Anderson of Ripon, WI. Kathryn was further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Kathryn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rumpel and sister, Mary Seleska.
Visitation for Kathryn will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Markesan Bible Church, 60 N. Margaret St., Markesan, WI 53946.
Memorial Service for Kathryn will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 11:30 am at Markesan Bible Church in Markesan. Pastor Levi Snyder will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.
