Kathleen Joyce Pischke, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at her home with her family by her side.
Joyce was born in Milwaukee, WI, on July 31, 1936, the daughter of Paul and Irene (Swanson) Coates. She graduated from Milwaukee North Division High School. On June 15, 1957, she married Albert E. Jordan in Milwaukee. He passed away in 1985. On May 1, 1987, Joyce married Eugene A. Pischke in Ripon, and he passed away on February 14, 2009. Joyce loved her family and children, and was known as the Den Mother. In addition to being a full time mom, she also worked at Dairyland Poultry, Parkview Care Center, and owned/operated the Packwaukee Mini Mart. She was a Packwaukee Lioness as well as a Ripon Lioness, and was the mother of the Founders of the Packwaukee Library. Joyce was an avid Packers fan, and also enjoyed making crafts.
Joyce is survived by her children, Kim England of Ripon, WI, Ervin (Shelly) Jordan of Sussex, WI, Kenny (Cathy) Jordan of Packwaukee, WI, Karen (John) Jones of Yuba, WI, Patti (Steve) Hansen of Westfield, WI; step-children, James (Sue) Yagler of Fond du Lac, WI, Judy (Bear) Hoffman of Ripon, WI, Daniel Pischke of Phoenix, AZ, Robert (Martha) Pischke and John Pischke both of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Sarah (Tim), Erin (Jamie), Kayla (Jase), Ryan (Kassidy), Chris, Eli, Matt, and Kelly; great-grandchildren, JJ, Kaylee, Tristan, Tylor, Ayda, Dakota, Harmony, Cameron, and Aidan; a sister, Joan Reger of Ripon, WI; nephews Alan (Yolanda) and Roy (Nenita); and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Jordan and Eugene Pischke; a grandson, Adam Sterlavage; and a brother-in-law, Anton Reger.
A visitation for Joyce will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the First Presbyterian Church of Packwaukee, 504 Main St., Packwaukee, WI, 53953.
A memorial service for Joyce will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the First Presbyterian Church of Packwaukee, with Pastor Brenda Pulver officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee. A memorial in Joyce's name is being established.
