Karin Elizabeth Thacker, age 52, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 19, 2019 at her home.
Karin was born in Portage, WI on June 26, 1967, the daughter of Arthur and Christine (Waite) Sebastiani. She graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, WI and attended Moraine Park Technical College. On August 3, 2000, she married Tim Thacker. Karin worked in Economic Support at Winnebago County Health and Human Services. Karin Elizabeth lived for her family and her dream plans to move down south to pursue that tropical island paradise!
Karin is survived by her husband, Tim Thacker; daughters, Carissa and Olivia Thacker; son, Grayson Thacker all of Ripon, WI; parents, Arthur and Christine Sebastiani also of Ripon, WI; sister, Karol Sebastiani and her children of Oshkosh, WI; and mother-in-law Carolyn Bradford of Mobile, Alabama. Karin is further survived by her cousins, her brother and sisters-in-law, and several very close friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, George Thacker.
A visitation for Karin will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon 54971.
A funeral service for Karin will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Pastor Paul Ethington officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established in her name.
